About Us
Founded in 2018, Off Rhythm Designs is a web design and development company (that also does lots of other stuff). It is located on the British Columbian Sunshine Coast (which is pretty damn pretty and you should totally visit), but takes jobs from people and businesses located anywhere!
About Laura
Off Rhythm Designs was founded by Laura Seabrook following her graduation from BCIT's Web Technologies program. While taking classes about how to create beautiful (and useful) websites, Laura also took a number of classes in marketing and business.
Laura likes binge-watching TV series, listening to loud music, crafting and coding. She also loves to read, and always seems to be reading or listening to a new book. When she founded this company, she had lived on the Sunshine Coast with her 19-year-old fur-baby, a kitty cat named Squeak, off and on for over 10 years. Now, Squeak has passed on, but she still lives there with her five (yes five) kitties. You can check out their Christmas photoshoot from a few years ago here.
Laura is also Gilmore Girl's level close with her mom and has a partner completing a degree in Comparative World Literature in California (long-distance relationships suck). She enjoys writing both fanfiction and original fiction.

Why Off Rhythm and not Off Beat?
People generally say something is “off beat," right? Well, Laura has been using the online handle psychorhythm (often shortened to simply psy by her online compatriots) since she was a teenager. As a result, she decided to take the handle that she's so attached to and use it to make her company name just a bit more off rhythm!
